Heymountain Give my Love to Rose & Spa-Massnahme [Review]

Do you like Rose scents? I do, but most rose scents are artificial.

I bought an essential rose oil in Egypt which I sometimes use as perfume. Also a perfume I like very much is Serge Lutens´ "Sa Majeste la Rose" which is quite an atypical rose smell, very fresh and sweet.

And some time ago I discovered this shower gel from Heymountain Cosmetics:

It´s called "Give my Love to Rose"

I just love its scent! Fresh and green, like a freshly cut red rose with a glance of the smell of its leaves.
It is a very natural scent.

The shower gel is not irritating to sensitive skin.

What I also like is that they offer trial sizes. For shower gel it is 75ml (about 5€). Spending 10€ for a shower gel you have never smelled in "real life" is something I think twice about. Still, 5€  is a lot of money for such a product, but the ingredients and philosophy of Heymountain compensate for that.

Aqua, Coco Glucoside, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Lauryl Glucoside, Lactic Acid, Glyceryl Laurate, Jojobaöl (Simmondsia chinensis oil), Olivenöl (Olivae oleum), Lecithin, Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis extract), Palmarosaöl (Cymbopogon martinii oil), Parfüm, Geraniumöl (Pelargonium graveolens oil), Rosen Absolue (Rosa damascena extract), Olibanumöl (Boswellia serrata oil), Vetiveröl (Vetiveria zizanoides oil), Kamillenöl blau (Chamomilla recutita oil), Benzyl alcohol, Benzylbenzoate, *Citral, Citronellol, *Eugenol, Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Potassium Sorbate, Cl 14720, Cl 15985.

Bath Tab "SPA-Massnahme"
Another product from Heymountain which I enjoyed is this bathing tab.
It smells like a summer meadow and it is good for your skin, too.

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Rüböl (Brassica napus oil), Calendulaöl (Glycine soybean oil, Calendula officinalis extract), Olivenöl (Olivae oleum), Ringelblumenblüten (Calendula officinalis flower), Kamillenblüten (Matricaria recutita flower), Heublumen (Flores graminis flower), Pfefferminzöl (Mentha arvensis oil), Wacholderholzöl (Juniperus communis oil), Rosmarinöl (Rosmarinus officinalis oil), Salbeiöl (Salvia hispanica oil), Heublumen Absolue (Flores graminis extract), Thymianöl (Thymus vulgaris herb oil), Parfüm, *Citral, *Coumarin, *Eugenol, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Cl 13015, Cl 42051. *Kommt natürlich in ätherischen Ölen vor.

Both products are vegan.

If you know LUSH, you probably know their bath ballistics. They are fizzing, too, but their ballistics don´t include extra skin care. Their bubble bars are. With Heymountain it´s vice versa.

Heymountain was founded by two ex-Lush-Germany-managers and it donates all extra profits to a charitable daughter company.

They offer 100% fresh and handmade cosmetics, 100% cosmetics made in Germany, 100% cosmetics without animal testing, 100% vegetarian cosmetics, 98% vegan cosmetics.

  1. These products sound nice.
I like delicate rose scent, but it can easily be too strong for my nose.

  2. This one is rather strong, but very natural, like smelling a real rose :)

Ich mag Kommentare :o)
