Keiko Mecheri *Loukhoum*

One of my favorite perfumes is Keiko Mecheri´s "Loukhoum". I discovered it on "Aus Liebe zum Duft". Keiko Mecheri is a Japanese "nose" and artist who lives in Los Angeles.

Do you know the jelly-likeTurkish candy cubes with the same name, also called "Turkish Delight"? This perfume was inspired by it.

Hawthorn blossom (Weißdorn/Rotdorn), Bulgarian rose absolute, precious woods, vanilla, Comores flowers, white almond, musk

White almonds, dates, honey or rose water are some ingeredients of both the candy and the perfume.
After applying the scent the heart note comes out which is from Comores flowers, woods and vanilla. The base note is a subtle musk.

It is a true gourmand note, so if you don´t like sweet scents it is definitely the wrong one for you.
Its sweetness is soft and gentle, yet strong.
Loukhoum is a very sensual and long-lasting perfume.

There are two additions to the original version:

Loukhoum eau Poudrée: lighter and more floral (rose)
Loukhoum Parfum du Soir:  richer and intensely vanillic
